Birds without flight

Birds without flight is what the Italian philosopher Emanuele Coccia calls leaves: plants conquer air and connect it with the earth. They inhabit the space vertically, horizontally and diagonally at the same time. Plants transform their environment and are in constant transformation themselves: their growth is infinite and always towards the sun. In this intimate performance/installation Francesca questions our human relationship with plants, in the hope of making more room for an alternative balance between different species.
