Ticket Types
At Klei, we offer several different types of tickets. Below, we explain the various options.
Pay What You Can
Because we realize that not everyone has the same budget, we offer a “Pay What You Can” option in addition to the regular price. We trust that everyone will choose a ticket that fits their situation.
U-Pas/student rate
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we have a special ticket for U-Pas holders and students.
Group tickets
Are you coming to Klei with a group of 6 or more people? Then take advantage of the group ticket!
Location
The performance takes place in a tent on the grounds of Steck Garden Center, Gageldijk 3 in Utrecht. You’ll be fully protected from the elements but in the evening it can get quite cold. So make sure to bring something warm with you. The location is easily accessible by car, bike, and public transportation.
Public Transportation
- Bus 55 (toward Maartensdijk): get off at Utrecht, Vulcanusdreef. Departure from Vredenburg.
- Train from Utrecht Centraal to Utrecht Overvecht. From there, it’s a 20-minute walk or a 7-minute bike ride. A limited number of OV-fietsen (public transport bikes) are available at this station.
Car
- Take the Groenekan/Maartensdijk exit from the A27.
- There is ample parking at Steck. On performance nights, we charge a parking fee of 6 euros.
Bicycle
Steck is easily accessible by bicycle. There is plenty of space on site to park your bicycle.
Accessibility
We believe it is important that our performance is accessible to everyone. We offer a number of accommodations for visitors with a disability (including invisible disabilities). For example, we have designated two wheelchair-accessible seats in the stands. During SPRING Performing Art Festival (16 – 23 May) we organize low-stimulation receptions. On these days we have a room with less stimuli and we offer noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses and a later entry to the dome. Do you have specific needs? Please contact Nikla Katsburg at nikla@schweigman.org.
